On May 28, 2015 our world came crashing down on us as we learned that we had lost our sweet baby girl, who was due to arrive 4 shorts weeks later. The next day, May 29, 2015, Lillian Grace was born sleeping. She was 6 lbs 3 oz and the most perfect thing in the world. We never got a reason why she died. All the tests they did on her and me came back normal. Lily wasn't the first baby we lost. In 2010 I had 2 miscariages. Then in 2011 we lost Carter's twin. It's not something most people know and until now, I haven't really talked about it.
The Share Walk is a memorial event that provides families who have experienced the tragic death of a baby an opportunity to openly acknowledge and remember their babies amongst family, friends, and other bereaved families and to walk the steps their precious children never got to take. Proceeds from the walk allow Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support, Inc. to continue to support bereaved families at no charge.
Please join us as a part of TEAM LILY to honor and remember our precious angel. If you cannot walk, you can still make a donation through the fundraising page, or you can still register for the walk, get a t-shirt, and be there virtually. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO GET A T-SHIRT IN THE SIZE YOU WANT, YOU MUST REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 1. You can still register after Sept 1, but you may not get the size t-shirt you want.
